Who we are

VigilON is a trade name of Hora Technologies, a proprietorship registered in India. In this notice, "VigilON", "we" and "us" mean Hora Technologies, trading as VigilON. You can reach us at asharma@vigilon.in.

What we collect, and why

Contact form. If you send us a message, we receive your name, email address, organization (if you give it), the topic you select, and your message. We use these only to reply to you.

CMMC Level 2 Score Calculator. Your answers stay in your browser while you use the calculator. If you choose to unlock your result, we receive your name, work email, organization, your confirmation that you agree to be contacted, and a summary of the result: the estimated score, its classification, and the list of requirement IDs you marked NOT MET or PARTIAL. We use these to follow up with you about the assessment. Please do not enter sensitive information such as Controlled Unclassified Information, credentials or network details.

CMMC Level 1 Readiness Check. Your checklist answers stay in your browser while you use the tool. If you choose to send your result to VigilON, we receive your name, work email, organization, your confirmation that you agree to be contacted, and a summary of the result: the number of items marked MET and the list of requirement IDs marked NOT MET or NOT SURE. We use these to follow up with you about the check. Sending is optional and you can read your result without it. Please do not enter sensitive information such as Controlled Unclassified Information, credentials or network details.

DF-010 enrolment. If you enrol in the free DF-010 course, we receive your name, email address, your role (student, IT or security professional, legal or law enforcement professional, or other) and your confirmation that you agree to be emailed. We use these to send you course updates and your certificate. The course videos are hosted on YouTube and the quizzes run on Google Forms; when you use them, Google processes your data under its own terms. Quiz forms collect your email address and answers, and the final assessment also collects your name and case note.

Website analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used. It records things like pages viewed, approximate location, and device and browser type, using cookies or similar identifiers.

Email. If you email us, we keep the correspondence so we can respond and follow up.

Why we may use your data

We process the details you submit because you have chosen to give them to us and, where a form asks for it, because you agree to the consent statement shown beside the form. You can withdraw that consent at any time by writing to us.

Who handles your data

• Netlify hosts this website and stores form submissions for us.
• Zoho Mail delivers and stores the email we send and receive.
• Google provides the analytics service described above, YouTube (course videos) and Google Forms (quizzes and the final assessment).

These providers may process data on servers outside India. We do not sell your personal data.

How long we keep it

We keep form submissions and email only for as long as needed to respond to you and follow up on your enquiry, and we delete them when you ask us to or when we no longer need them.

Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may ask us to:

• tell you what personal data of yours we hold;
• correct or update it;
• delete it;
• stop using it, by withdrawing your consent.

Write to asharma@vigilon.in with the email address you used, and we will respond as soon as reasonably possible. The same address is our contact for any complaint about how we handle your data.

Children

This website is intended for professionals and organizations. It is not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

Changes to this notice

If we change this notice, we will update the date at the top of this page.
